Endoscopy in Reproductive Surgery
Course description
This programme has been running in the pilot phase and is now in the evaluation and progress phase as part of the EHRE SIG reproductive surgery initiative.
Objectives
The course focuses on the importance of endoscopic diagnosis and surgery in reproductive medicine and has three important parts:
- Live surgical teaching of 4-6 hours over two days with interactive live surgery from expert centres demonstrating reproductive-health procedures.
- Hands-on training of laparoscopic skills and suturing

Theoretical part: lectures on the most important issues in reproductive endoscopy such as
- diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy,
- transvaginal laparoscopy, and
- operative endoscopy for myomectomy endometriosis.
